Our Story
Our love for giant breeds began 17 years ago with Great Danes. We were drawn to their beautiful coat colors, gentle temperaments, intelligence, and loyal companionship.
Over the years, our breeding program expanded to include Mini Dachshunds and Corgis for families looking for a smaller companion. No matter the breed or size, each puppy is raised with the same attention, care, and commitment.

We’re Titus and Melva Burkholder, the family behind TM Countryside K9 in Goshen, Indiana. For the past 17 years, raising dogs has been a passion of ours, beginning with our love for Great Danes and growing to include Mini Dachshunds and Corgis.
Three Breeds, the Same Level of Care
At TM Countryside K9, we raise Great Danes, Mini Dachshunds, and Corgis.
Our adult dogs are regularly checked by a veterinarian and receive plenty of hands-on attention. They have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, and we take special care to keep our nursing mothers comfortable while they raise their puppies.
Preparing Puppies for Family Life
Our puppies receive plenty of hands-on interaction as they grow. Our family introduces them to different environments and everyday experiences to help them become comfortable and confident.
Our goal is to give every puppy a strong start before they join their new family.
More Than Sending a Puppy Home
Our goal is simple: to provide happy, healthy puppies to families who will continue loving and caring for them throughout their lives.
Each puppy leaves TM Countryside K9 vet checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and dewormings, and accompanied by their registration papers, health guarantee, and puppy care package.
Our relationship with families does not end on pickup day. We also provide lifetime support and are available to help with questions as puppies settle into their new homes.

Whelped in a clean, climate-controlled whelping area and monitored closely.
Daily handling and developmentally appropriate exposure — sounds, surfaces, people — building a confident, calm adult.
Weaning is complete, and puppies are starting to learn to go potty outside.
Well-adjusted, confident, and vet-cleared — ready to give unconditional love and steadfast comfort.

Every breed we raise comes with its own known health considerations, and we take them seriously. We are intentional about our dam and sire pairings, and both parents complete health screening before any litter is planned.
